Before planting:
- Sprinkle 5 lbs / 100 sq ft
- Till into the soil 3 to 5 inches deep
After plants sprout:
- Sprinkle between the rows every 2 to 3 weeks
- Keep 3 inches from stems
- Avoid sprinkling directly on foliage
After harvest season:
- Sprinkle 5 lbs / 100 sq ft
- Till into soil along with leaves and other organic matter

TIPS:
- Mix 1 part Farmer Gary’s to 20 parts soil
- 3 cups = approximately 1 lb of product
NEWLY PLANTED TREES AND SHRUBS
TIPS:
- Sprinkle 2 cups around base of tree right after planting
- Reapply 2 cups once in early spring and 2 cups midsummer
LAWN APPLICATION TIPS
TIPS:
- Apply 30lbs / 3000 sq ft
- Apply to freshly mowed lawn
- Water lawn or apply shortly before rainfall
- Increasing the application to 30lbs / 1500 sq ft in late fall after aerating
lawn may improve performance
